R44 Helicopter Safety Improvement: Symmetrical Stabilizer

AV8 Flight School’s Robinson R44 has recently been updated with a symmetrical stabilizer approved by the FAA.

The retrofit kit was installed by Prairie Air of Elbow Lake, MN.

AV8 would like to thank Joe and the crew of Prairie Air in Elbow Lake, MN (Y63) for helping to improve the safety of our R44 helicopter, by installing Robinson’s newly approved symmetric stabilizer.
