Flight Instructor

Ratings: Commercial SEL/MEL, CFI, CFII, MEI

Sam’s interest in aviation began in high school when his uncle flew into town and gave him a tour of the Falcon 2000 cockpit he’d been flying in. He earned his bachelor’s degree from the University of Minnesota and began his private pilot training at AV8 during his final two semesters of college. The rest of his ratings were earned at ATP and has since returned to AV8 as a flight instructor.

Outside of aviation, Sam likes to golf and camp with college friends. He looks forward to helping his students achieve their flying goals.
