Brendan’s interest in aviation began at a young age attending air shows in Red Wing, MN and joining the local Civil Air Patrol squadron. While in high school, he earned his private pilot certificate and then decided to study Forestry at the University of Massachusetts Amherst.

While in college, Brendan worked for the US Forest Service as a wildland firefighter in the summer and there his interest in aviation was reignited by working with aviation resources on fires. After returning to Minnesota, he continued in his flight training earning his commercial, CFI, and CFII at AV8.

When not flying, Brendan enjoys spending time with friends and family, reading, hiking, and skiing.
