Girls in Aviation Day

AV8 Flight School is proud to participate in the Stars of the North annual Girls in Aviation Day on September 23, 2023

This free event will be held Saturday September 23, 2023, from 10am-3pm and is made available for youth to learn about aviation opportunities. The event is geared toward girls ages 8-17, however everyone is welcome to attend.

Girls in Aviation Day encourages and helps to foster female participation in aviation-related careers. The day is filled with numerous areas to experience, and all are focused on aviation.

Attend & Experience:

Discovery Hangar: aerospace-themed hands-on activities center highlighting Science, Technology, Engineering, and Math (STEM) within the industry
Exhibit Hall: features exhibitors from airlines, military, universities, flight schools, engineering firms, FAA and many more professionals who will be on hand to showcase various career opportunities in the aerospace industry
Crooked Path: Join us for an inspirational conversation about several women and their incredible journeys in overcoming obstacles and pursing their aviation dreams
Rising Stars: A track program that takes place during GIAD23 and is geared toward female students entering grades 9-12. Registration is $35 and space is limited, sign up soon!

Girls in Aviation Day 2023 at Jet Linx & Flying Cloud Airport in Eden Prairie MN. Hours are 10am to 3pm.
