About the Award
Presented by the Aircraft Owners and Pilots Association (AOPA), this award recognizes flight schools across the country that consistently deliver top-notch instruction and create a supportive and effective learning environment. The selection process is based on feedback from students, instructors, and designated pilot examiners, all reviewed anonymously by a panel of industry experts.
The AOPA Flight Training Experience Awards highlight outstanding practices in aviation education, raise the bar for quality, and shine a spotlight on schools that go the extra mile for their students. Awards are presented in several categories at both regional and national levels, including Best Flight School, Best Instructor, Distinguished Flight Schools, and Distinguished Instructors.
