At AV8 Flight School, we’re always looking for ways to make training more effective for our students. That’s why we’re proud to announce the addition of the ICARUS Device to our pilot instruction toolkit.

The ICARUS Device is used by respected aviation organizations including the United States Air Force, Helicopter Institute, the Department of Homeland Security, Apollo MedFlight, and United States Army Aviation. ICARUS simulation supports IFR training by creating visually realistic meteorological conditions for the pilot. By bringing this proven training tool into our program, students can experience more realistic and varying weather conditions and transitions during instruction.
