AV8 Flight mourns the loss of Loren Jones
We are deeply saddened to report that Loren Jones, a long-time member of the AV8 Flight School team, passed away as a result of a gyrocopter accident on October 8, 2023.
Loren had a life-long passion for aviation and was a skilled pilot with over 10,000 hours of flying experience. He was respected both professionally and personally.
Loren is survived by his wife and son.
AV8 Flight is grateful for the time we enjoyed with Loren, and our thoughts are with his family.
A memorial service will be held Friday, October 27 at AV8 Flight School, Flying Cloud Airport, 13601 Pioneer Trail, Eden Prairie, MN from 3-6:00 pm, with a Celebration of Life Program at 4:30pm.
